The Town of Highland, Douglas County is accepting sealed bids for the reconstruction on a portion of Hazel Prairie Road. Work to include pulverizing existing pavement, placing and compacting gravel to a finished 4” depth, placing 2” overlay of cold mix, (11’ driving lanes) and placing 2’ gravel shoulders. Project area begins at the intersection of Highway S and continues west along Hazel Prairie Road through the intersection of Oakdale Road. Project must be completed by September 1, 2021. Bids will be accepted until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. Bids will be opened and possibly awarded at that time at a meeting at the Highland Town Hall. Bids can be mailed to the Town of Highland, PO Box 22, Lake Nebagamon, WI 54849. Please write bid enclosed on outside of envelope.
The Town of Highland reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or any part(s) thereof, waive any informalities in the bidding process, and to accept the bids proposal or portion of the bid proposal deemed most advantageous to the Town.
