The Town of Highland will receive sealed bids until Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.   Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time (at the Highland Town Hall – 9360 S County Road S).  Bids should be submitted to the Town Clerk, Town of Highland, PO Box 22, Lake Nebagamon, WI  54849.  Please write “Bid enclosed – Hazel Prairie Gravel and Pulverize” on the envelope.

The Project location is Hazel Prairie Road from County Road S to Oakdale Road.   Total length of project roadway is approximately 1 mile.  The project includes placement of 6” of gravel and pulverizing the existing pavement into the gravel.  The project includes compacting and shaping the roadway.   Roadway is 22’ wide.   Call Charles Khalar at (715) 374-3437 with questions regarding this project.

The Town of Highland reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities in bidding, and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the Town.

The Town of Highland will receive sealed bids until Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.   Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time (at the Highland Town Hall – 9360 S County Road S).  Bids should be submitted to the Town Clerk, Town of Highland, PO Box 22, Lake Nebagamon, WI  54849.  Please write “Bid enclosed – Hazel Prairie Repavement” on the envelope.

The Project location is Hazel Prairie Road from County Road S to Oakdale Road.   Total length of project roadway is approximately 1 mile.  The project includes placement of 6” of gravel, pulverizing the existing pavement into the gravel, prepare and compact, placing hot mix (with a E3 blacktop mix).  This should be compacted to a thickness of 2” with an 85% density with a 2% slope from centerline.  Additionally a compacted 2’ wide gravel shoulder needs to be provided.  Call Charles Khalar at (715) 374-3437 with questions regarding this project.

The successful bidder will be required to supply an Engineer’s Certificate certifying the improvement has a 10 year minimum design life.  This is an LRIP Project.

The Project location is Francis Willard Road from Khalar Road to CCC Road.   Total length of project roadway is approximately 2 miles.  The project includes placement of 6” of gravel and pulverizing the existing pavement into the gravel.  The project includes compacting and shaping the roadway.   Roadway is 22’ wide.   Call Charles Khalar at (715) 374-3437 with questions regarding this project.

Notice is hereby given, that at an election to be held in the Town of Highland, on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, the following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed.  All terms are for two years beginning on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.

There will be a Special Town Board meeting on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at the Highland Town Hall.  The board will be discussing hiring another JFK Transfer Station attendant.  The Board anticipates going into closed session to discuss other personnel issues.  Wisc.
