NOTICE

The Town of Highland is requesting bids for the placement of gravel on the following road segments.  Each segment to be bid separately. Gravel needs to be placed prior to the road being pulverized by outside contractor (to be determined).  After road is pulverized, gravel supplier will need to return to compact and shape the road.  Gravel needs to be 4” finish compacted.  Project needs to be coordinated with the pulverizing contractor with a final completion date of October 31, 2018.   Please write bid enclosed on the outside of envelopes.  Bids will be accepted until Tuesday, August 28 at 6:00 p.m.  For more information, please contact Scott Khalar, Chairperson at (715) 374 -3437.

The Regular Town Board Meeting will be held on

Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Highland Town Hall.  The Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. to review correspondence and disbursements.  An agenda will be posted.

Please note the meeting this month is on Wednesday, due to the Election on Tuesday, August 14.

The Polling Place will open at 7:00 a.m. and will close at 8:00 p.m.

Public Test of Election Tabulation Equipment for August 14, 2018 Election

The Town of Highland has an immediate opening for a part time seasonal maintenance worker.  Duties to include lawn mowing and could include other maintenance duties.  A work permit may be required and a driver’s license is preferred.  Wage will be based on experience.  Resumes should be sent to

There will be a Special Town Board Meeting on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at the Highland Town Hall to declare a state of emergency due to the rain/flooding event from June 14 thru June 16^th.  Discussion will be held on the status of the town roads and the progress in repairing them.
